Equity in Action: Presenting Our Second Factsheet
At Momentum, our mission is clear: to build a more equitable society that offers equal opportunities to all. We firmly believe in the transformative power of collaboration and have harnessed this force to ignite a ripple effect of change that transcends borders and sectors.
In today's world, where societal challenges persist, collaboration and collective wisdom have emerged as powerful catalysts for driving positive change. We have witnessed firsthand the incredible outcomes that arise when diverse stakeholders unite. With a shared vision, we have cultivated a vibrant tapestry of ideas, perspectives, and experiences through our Participatory Labs and Collective Insights.
Throughout 25 workshops held in 5 countries, we have brought together over 120 participants. Our focus has been to break down barriers and promote the integration of migrant and refugee women into the workplace. These participatory labs have gone beyond mere idea exchange; they have uncovered collective wisdom. By bringing stakeholders from diverse backgrounds together, we have created a space where their knowledge and experiences intertwine, leading to the emergence of innovative solutions and strategies.
Recognizing the need for effective frameworks, we have developed the Integrated Collaboration Framework. This empowering tool serves as a foundation for collaboration, driving systemic change by bringing key players together. Within this framework, we have prioritized addressing the challenges faced by migrant and refugee women in accessing vocational training and employment opportunities, with a specific focus on women aged 18-35. In collaboration with Irecoop in Italy, we have tailored training materials specifically designed for migrant women. Our trainers are equipped with a comprehensive toolkit, ensuring impactful sessions that delve deeper into relevant themes.
